The Muheza District Council has officially announced 37 temporary job opportunities for Revenue Collectors to support revenue collection activities in various wards across the district. The vacancies were advertised by the District Executive Director and are aimed at qualified residents of Muheza.
Job Title: Revenue Collector (37 Positions)
Successful applicants will be responsible for collecting council revenue using electronic Point of Sale (POS) machines and ensuring all collected funds are properly deposited into designated council bank accounts.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will:
- Collect revenue using POS machines.
- Ensure all revenue collection activities are carried out efficiently.
- Maintain and manage revenue collection records and data.
- Prepare daily revenue collection reports.
- Deposit collected funds into council accounts and submit payment records.
Qualifications Required
Applicants must:
- Have completed at least Primary Education (Standard Seven) or higher.
- Be able to use a smartphone.
- Possess a valid National Identification Card (NIDA) or NIDA number.
- Not be employed by the government or any other institution.
