Available Positions
1. Assistant Health Laboratory Technologist II – 10 Posts
Successful candidates will be responsible for preparing laboratory reagents, handling laboratory samples, collecting blood specimens, recording test results, preparing laboratory equipment, and storing samples according to established procedures.
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Health Laboratory Sciences from a government-recognized institution and be registered with the relevant Health Laboratory Professionals Council.
2. Assistant Technologist – Pharmacy II – 10 Posts
Duties include managing pharmaceutical supplies, ordering, storing and distributing medicines and medical equipment, maintaining records, and preparing reports on medicine usage.
Applicants should hold a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and be registered with the Pharmacy Council.
3. Assistant Technologist – Radiology II – 10 Posts
The position involves receiving and examining patients for radiographic procedures, preparing and processing imaging materials, maintaining X-ray equipment, and supporting radiology services.
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Radiology and be registered with the Tanzania Atomic Energy Commission or the relevant professional regulatory body.
4. Radiography Technologist II – Radiology – 10 Posts
Responsibilities include conducting radiographic examinations, maintaining radiology equipment, ensuring image quality, supervising junior staff, and providing technical advice on radiology services.
Candidates should hold a Diploma in Radiography Technology from a recognized institution and be registered with the relevant professional board.
5. Internal Auditor Grade II – 15 Posts
Internal Auditors will be responsible for conducting audits, evaluating internal controls, risk management systems, corporate governance processes, and following up on audit recommendations.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or an equivalent qualification, together with CPA(T) certification or another qualification recognized by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).
6. Accountant Grade II – 10 Posts
The role involves preparing financial statements, recording government revenues, conducting bank reconciliations, reviewing payment documents, and maintaining financial records.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce (Accounting), or an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, along with CPA(T) certification or an equivalent qualification recognized by NBAA.
7. Dental Therapist Grade II – 10 Posts
Dental Therapists will provide oral healthcare services, perform minor procedures, supervise junior staff, maintain treatment records, and participate in community health programs.
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from a recognized institution and be registered with the Medical Council.
8. Dental Surgeon Grade II – 10 Posts
Successful candidates will provide comprehensive oral healthcare services, conduct dental surgeries, manage oral disease prevention programs, supervise staff, conduct research, and participate in outreach services.
Applicants must hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from a recognized institution, have completed internship training, and be registered with the Tanganyika Medical Council.
9. Nurse II – 10 Posts
Nurses will provide nursing care in hospitals and communities, coordinate healthcare services, collect health data, provide counseling, maternal and child health services, and health education.
Applicants must possess a two-year Nursing Certificate from a recognized institution and be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Salary Scales
The positions offer attractive government salary scales ranging from TGHS A, TGHS B, TGHS E, TGTS B, and TGS E, depending on the job category and qualifications required.
